VMCVM Faculty Spotlight: Yukitaka Kani , articleMeet Yukitaka Kani, an assistant professor of anatomy who joined the veterinary college in August 2024. He aspires to keep calm in every situation, and is inspired by his father, a man of few words but strong actions, and Albert Einstein, who said "If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough." He loves being part of the education of the next generation of veterinarians, particularly feeling fulfilled when that light comes on and a student says "That makes sense." Yukitaka also loves going home at the end of the day and sharing a bowl of ice cream with his wfie.
