Our chapter raises money to support student scholarships for area Hokies. Please make a gift to support a new generation of Hokies and encourage incoming students you know to apply for our scholarships.


Volunteer

We depend on local volunteers to keep our chapter active. There are volunteer opportunities for all Hokies with varying time commitments. Please join us!

That forward-looking vision was on display in Blacksburg as Virginia Tech convened leaders in aviation, transportation, and national security to explore the future of direct air mobility and smart airspace.

    2025 Pamplin Inspiring Possibilities Academy , video

    Celebrating its fourth year, the Pamplin’s Inspiring Possibilities (PIP) Academy welcomed its 2025 cohort this summer of 31 students. The PIP academy is a ten-day residential program designed to introduce rising high school seniors from different backgrounds to the dynamic world of business and business careers. Students had the opportunity to interact with various business professionals and participate in the preparation and presentation of a team project facilitated by Pamplin College of Business faculty, alumni, business leaders, and current Pamplin students.     Meet JoAnna Pendergrass, DVM ’10, a freelance medical writer at JPen Communications. After earning her DVM from VMCVM, she took a non-traditional path, pursuing a postdoctoral research fellowship at Emory University and then a career transition to medical writing, where she uses her clinical knowledge to make complex veterinary topics accessible to pet parents. Her VMCVM education equipped her with the resilience and versatility to thrive in a unique and meaningful career.
